I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.
I also hadn’t been laid in three years. Hadn’t been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup… a while ago.
Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.
The fact that I don’t even know she exists, and he thinks she’s dead.
Everything is about to hit the fan and I can’t hold on to him tight enough.
I have high expectations for Alessandra Torre. I admit this. Her writing is brilliant. My last review of her work, for Black Lies, had me proposing marriage. I was thrilled to get my hands on Tight, anxious to see where the plot was going to take me.
I wasn’t disappointed. A couple moments of the plot rang familiar, but I was kept on my toes. Riley is a refreshing heroine. She is so real. Her background, her friends, her family, her appearance, her attitude… you name it and it felt real. I was oh so happy with her. Brett is our sexy hero. Charismatic, dominant, and a gentleman. But he has secrets. They aren’t hard to figure out as the reader, but poor Riley is a curious kitten. She’s falling for a man and needs to clear her suspicious doubts. Oh, what’s a girl to do… Brett and Riley’s passion is perfection. They’re relationship is delicious. But can it survive what they must go through to have all the secrets come to surface?
The pacing of Tight is spot on. Alessandra’s writing holds up to her reader’s expectations. I strongly recommend grabbing this. I think you’ll be pleased with a new perspective on what this book entails. You’ll have to read it to see what I mean.
