About The Author:

Logan Chance enjoys the simple things in life. Star Wars, music, and pretty girls. Always in trouble at school, he was made to copy the dictionary while the others played. This began his word fascination.

With a love of words he then realized he loved stringing those same words together to create stories to inspire all.

From Boston, and relocated to Florida, he lives out his days writing, reading, and avoiding the beach.

Not afraid to tell it how it is, Logan is definitely a man of his own.

Let’s be honest, most men aren’t even that damn picky, but tonight I craved above average. It’s why I picked Nectar—the hottest place to be on a Friday night—but while sexy, curvaceous asses and pumped up plastic tits painted the room like a surgeon’s personal advertisement billboard, I wanted something closer to the liquor in my hand. I wanted a girl fresh out of the damn bottle, warm in my mouth, burning on the way down, and fucking me up until I couldn’t see straight. I wanted the good shit.

The force was strong with Like A Boss. So strong I welcomed another member into my exclusive book boyfriend club. What am I going to do with you, Theo? I get really excited when I find someone to let in. Let me explain why Theo is now the 7th member…

Yes, Theo captured my heart and went from 2-D to 3-D with lists. I can’t even. I’m sure you knew a list was coming..

Okay, that’s just a small sampling of why I loved him. Nookie eating probably needs another mention, or three, or a hundred, maybe it’s own list.

When I read the blurb of Like A Boss, I zoned in on the love/hate premise. I thought yes, yes, YES. Gimme. Like A Boss started off with a bang. Literally. Penny and Theo were two strangers who shared a night together. An extreeeeeemely hot night. Fast forward, and Fate, bitch that she can be, threw them back together. With a twist! What if the other person doesn’t recognize you? And you don’t really like each other? And they’re your boss?!

Poor Penny. I adored her feisty self. She only wanted to be heard and Theo was not listening. Their banter was hilarious. I don’t know what I would have done if I was in her shoes… Let me think…

The chemistry between these two was palpable. The push/pull, will they/won’t they was perfect.  And then the author threw in another twist! A twist that had me wanting to shake Penny, out of love of course. Thank goodness this was dual POV, because Theo may have been cocky and brash, BUT, oh my heavens, there was so much more to him. He pushed all of poor Penny’s buttons, but he was just so darn cute. And sexy. And unforgettable. And top tier dirty talker.

Which leads me to…

Oh my god, hot sex that had my face on fire! My face was an inferno! This was erotica and oh my was it ever. Theo was so raw and unfiltered. So passionate. Dirty dirty dirty Theo. So dirty. This guy deserves a medal.

And another list…

(And now I’m thinking about that shower scene.)

I always get excited when I find a character who gives me that special feeling that doesn’t go away. Someone I think about long after I’m done reading. I search and search for that indescribable feeling you get. I found it with Theo. Like A Boss was way more than love/hate. It was sexy and fun, well written, and just the right amount of angst. The plot had unexpected twists and turns that kept me turning the page non stop. Logan Chance did a stellar job with this debut; so much heart and heat was packed into this novella. Such talent creating memorable characters. This author will definitely go to the top of my must read list.

Special mention to the title which has me wanting to add Like A Boss to the end of everything I do.

See? Isn’t that fun? It’s addictive.

Like A Boss is book one of two, and the cliffhanger gave me chills. That’s how you do a cliffhanger. If you’re going to torture me, go all out. I can’t wait for book 2 to see where Penny and Theo end up. I was so impressed with this author and this novella, and I really hope you one click (Like A Boss) this 5 star read!
