A group of girls bringing out all the dirty laundry everyone is afraid to show…
Ang has been a voracious reader for as long as she can remember. She worked her way through the grade school library with the entirety of Judy Blume’s books and the Sweet Valley High series. At the tender age of 12 she graduated to Flowers in the Attic and her love of the forbidden was born. When stealing her mom’s Harlequin romances got old, she moved on to Jackie Collins’ books and learned about kick ass female heroines a la Lucky Santangelo. She hit a romance book slump in her 20s and focused on “smart” books as the romance books of her youth seemed a direct disconnect to her feminist ideals. But then her 30s hit … along with the nostalgia for youth. And guess what, you guys? She discovered you can still be a feminist and love reading about dark, dirty smut and gooey sugary romances that make your teeth hurt from the sweetness. She’s been back to her romance roots ever since.
Ang is married to a really smart, funny, sexy, woman. When she’s not reading and talking about smut, she’s working long hours in Corporate America. She has an inordinate fondness for braids, lattes, smart women, bourbon, blondes, nice people, New Jersey, m/m romance, las mariposas, She-Ra, the Chicago Bears, gay porn (she’s thoroughly obsessed with Colby Keller), green chiles, and Cuba. Ang’s favorite part of blogging is supporting women authors!
Some of her favorite authors include M. Pierce, CJ Roberts, Melanie Harlow, Kele Moon, Julia Alvarez, Anne Rice, Riley Hart, Kayti McGee, and the one and only, Sierra Simone.

Candi loves reading, smut, cheese, chatting, her five adorable kids, doing the splits, her handsome husband, and grapefruits. What Candi hates are olives. Very much. She has a penchant for ACFs (auto correct failures) and is an expert on all things LELO and Hitachi Wand.
Our blog name was born on her laundry room floor where she would sneak to chat about gay porn and smut with her fellow Dirty Girls. Some of her favorite authors are M. Pierce, Leah Raeder, Katy Evans, Jodi Ellen Malpas, Stephenie Meyer, K. Bromberg, and so many more!

Paula is a sweet southern belle living in the northeast. She’s managed to keep her sunny disposition despite the cold climate. Paula keeps her friends entertained with her witty banter and insightful ANALysis. She hates non-happily ever afters, but deals with it despite her shattered heart. She’s been known to ask her friends for major spoilers even as she tells them not to tell her. She may even sneak a look at the last page from time to time if the stress level is too high. Paula doesn’t limit herself to one genre and taboo subjects are a particular favorite. Some of the authors Paula is fond of include M. Pierce, Madeline Sheehan, CJ Roberts, and Kristen Ashley… just to name a few.
She is a fruit porn aficionado and really appreciates Colby Keller’s left hand.

How We Came To Be
You may be asking yourself, “How did such charming, awesome, scandalous women come together?” Well, it all started when we read this lovely book called Night Owl by M. Pierce. Have you heard of it? Have you reread it multiple times and gushed and fawned and swooned and had your heart broken and put back together? No?! Go buy it now. Right now. And if you have read it? Just know that you are in good company. We are your people. We have so much love for that book and the brilliant M. Pierce. We never would have guessed this love would be the root of so much more.
Carrying on with our origin story; this book gave us so much emotion and such horrible book hangovers that we did the only logical thing we could do, which was to immediately go online searching to find out any information we could about the book and the author. And guess what? We found a really wonderful, funny, kind, and generous person who interacted with readers and just seemed so real with these amazing blog posts. And then we found this fantastic fan page with some of the coolest, warmest, smartest, funniest women around … and then we joined Twitter and all hell broke loose. The best kind of hell. And somewhere in the seventh circle, we started discussing all the things you never really talk about … private things … real things … sex things … in an oddly public forum. We just sort of had a-ha moments when we genuinely connected with each other. You know that feeling. This person gets me! Really gets me! We have real life friends that are readers and we share books, but with our Dirty Girls it had become totally normal to spend hours discussing our favorite characters and authors. And that led to discussing life in general. Eventually, these late night tweets and messages grew into a group discussion and suddenly we were constantly chatting. We all confessed that we were spending more time with each other than our “real life” friends. We had developed some sort of addiction to each other … and we knew we had to do something “legit” so our significant others and friends would understand why we spent so much time with these “strangers on the internet.” So naturally we decided to start a blog. And strangers? No. We’ve shared more of our dirty little secrets with each other than our real life friends combined. We’ve had way too many laughs to count and quite a few tears were shed as well (mainly from laughter). Friendships have formed. Love has blossomed. And here we are today.
We have grand ideas about what this blog will be. We know there will be books, reviews, and saucy author interviews! We hope to make you laugh. A lot. We’re going to talk about sex, and fun things, real things and uncomfortable things, about life truths and relationships (both real and fictional), but above all else we want to support each other and all of you. There will be no bullshit and no drama. We are women supporting women. And men too. We are equal opportunity champions! We plan to be ourselves and be brutally honest. Warts and all. Ok. No one really has warts. We don’t think. Genital warts would really suck. But no judgment! If you have warts, we will research the internet and help find cures for you!
