Kerris Moreton should be the happiest woman in the world: She has a successful business and is about to start the family she’s always wanted. But the man of her dreams-the one whose green eyes see straight into her soul and whose gentle hands make her body hum with pleasure-is not hers.

Each secret moment with Walsh Bennett serves to remind Kerris of what she’s missing. And every stolen hour makes it harder to see her future without him. But being with Walsh would betray a sacred promise and upend her perfect life. When tragedy strikes, the razor’s edge between love and loyalty grows sharper than ever. Excerpt

“Stop running from me.” Walsh’s soft words were an entreaty, a command, and a caress all bundled up in one unavoidable knot.
“I’m not running.” Kerris knew it was a lie, but she couldn’t help it. “I just don’t think it’s a good idea for you to be here…yet.”
“And I’m tired of waiting,” he whispered, taking another step forward, using his index finger to tilt up her chin. “Don’t send me away again. I’ve missed you.”
She nodded, closing her eyes in the sweetest torture. His mouth brushed hers lightly, once and then again.
“Don’t do this,” she said, his breath hot against her parted lips.
His traced his tongue across her bottom lip.
“Do what?”
“That.”
She shook her head, helpless, sure that he was going to kiss her and certain that she would not be able to send him away.
Walsh dipped his head, hovering over her open mouth for a few seconds, and she breathed him in before he possessed her mouth completely. He nudged her lips open wider, dipping his tongue into her mouth. He groaned at the shy brush of her tongue against his. He slid his hands down to her waist, pulling her close until her body’s soft curves melted into the harder lines of his own. Desire simmered between them, a slow burn that steadily licked away at their control until there was nothing left but an open flame.
Kerris leaned into him, her hands plowing their way up his chest and around his neck. Lips, tongue, teeth, famished and feverish. She was lost in him, oblivious to the world, pulled into the vortex of a kiss deeper and hotter than any she’d had before. His large, warm hand slipped under her shirt, stroking the naked skin of her back. He left her mouth long enough to scatter kisses down her neck and into the open collar of her shirt, whispering across the bones.

About the Author

There were several signs that Kennedy Ryan would be a writer, but making up stories with a mop as her long-haired heroine while the other kids played kick ball may have been the most telling. After graduating with her journalism degree from UNC-Chapel Hill (GO, HEELS!), she found various means of gainful employment having absolutely nothing to do with said degree, but knew she would circle back to writing, in some form or fashion. Some day. After years of working and writing for non-profit organizations, she finally returned to her first love – telling stories.
Kennedy writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction. She always gives her characters their happily ever after, but loves to make them work for it! It’s a long road to love, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
In an alternative universe and under her government name Tina Dula, she is wife to the love of her life, mom to to her son, and a friend to those living with autism through her foundation Myles-A-Part.
She is splitting 25% of her royalties between donations for her foundation, and to her national charitable partner, Talk About Curing Autism (TACA).
Her interview series MOMMIES DO THE MOST AMAZING THINGS is featured each month in Brooke Burke’s online magazine Modern Mom.

Tarah's Review

I was excited to get my hands on Loving You Always. After reading When You Are Mine, I wanted and needed the closure for Kerris and Walsh.

Kennedy didn’t disappoint me in my hopes for where the story was going. The angst is a little less intense in this second book as the plot takes a more predictable path, but it didn’t lessen the experience for me. I felt comfortable reading characters I’d learn to know. I wanted to slap them a few times, but I was pleased to see them stay true to themselves.

Kennedy writes love well. Your heart breaks and melts a little for Kerris, Cam, and Walsh as they figure things out. The feels are still present as the story continues and leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait for book three, Be Mine Forever, where hopefully Cam will get his own happily ever after.
